Dugogodišnja saradnja u službi podrške žrtvama nasilja

Udruženje „Novi put“ je danas održalo radni sastanak s predstavnicima Ministarstva zdravstva, rada i socijalne skrbi Zapadnohercegovačke županije, s kojim imamo potpisan Memorandum o saradnji još od 2023. godine. Sastanak je realizovan u okviru projekta „STOP femicidu!“, koji finansira Ekumenska Inicijativa Žena (EWI) uz podršku Fondacije Filia i Ministarstva vanjskih poslova Njemačke (Auswärtiges Amt) kroz program Civil Society Cooperation.

Tokom sastanka prezentirali smo dosadašnje rezultate rada našeg mobilnog tima, koji pruža stručnu psiho-socijalnu podršku ženama i djevojkama žrtvama nasilja na području Hercegovačko-neretvanskog i Zapadnohercegovačkog kantona. Posebna pažnja posvećena je pitanjima unapređenja institucionalnog odgovora na sve oblike nasilja, uključujući femicid, nasilje u partnerskim odnosima i nasilje na radnom mjestu.

Razmijenjene su informacije o aktuelnim slučajevima na terenu, s ciljem jačanja međusobne koordinacije i osiguranja brze, kvalitetne i sveobuhvatne podrške žrtvama nasilja. U fokusu razgovora bila je i važnost dostupnosti pomoći ženama u ruralnim i manje pristupačnim područjima, gdje podrška često izostaje.

Zahvaljujemo Ministarstvu zdravstva, rada i socijalne skrbi ZHK na otvorenosti, kontinuiranoj saradnji i zajedničkom zalaganju za smanjenje broja žrtava nasilja. Samo sinergijom institucija i organizacija civilnog društva možemo izgraditi sigurnije zajednice i spriječiti nove slučajeve nasilja.
